The cruiser is the bike meant for people who like to go on long trips around the country or who just want to take a ride in town. If you like all these things that this is the bike for you. The cruiser bike dates back in the 60s from custom bikes. The general appearance of the cruiser is low seat and  swept back handlebars. The most popular and known cruiser is Harley Davidson but recently other bike companies have started to built cruisers.

The sport bike

If you are the type of person who likes speed that you should get yourself a sports bike. You should know that this type of motorcycle is an update of the road racer, which is why it would feel right at home if you take it on the track. You can take this bike from the road and place it on a racetrack which just a few modifications. The elements specific to this bike are the low handlebars and a low seating.

Th 2012 model does not seem to be a let down to classic Harley Davidson lovers. The same features are kept in order to continue the tradition, important elements such as: low seat, V twin engine, ergonomic fit and an air cooler. When you look at the Super Glide you just know that it is a Harley Davidson because of all the specific elements.

Since the 2012 Super Glide is a continuation of tradition it not only has the same old features it also has some upgrades. The upgrades present on this bike are: electric start and fuel injection. Besides all this it also has the latest generation in switchgear provided by Harley, a new design on the  buttons and switches.

Another upgrade present in the 2012 model is the ABS which has now become available only in the Security Package which is priced at about 1195 $. The modification brought to the ABS is the reduction of the only electro hydraulic control unit dimensions. So, when you buy the bike you have to pay extra in order to have an ABS installed.

On the new model you will also notice the chrome wheels which from up front look very wide. The chromed wheels fit like a glove with the Michelin Scorcher tires. The chrome is very glamorous and gives the appearance of liquid metal.

The manufacturer has kept all the essential components of the Super Glide but it has also added some elements which have upgraded the bike to the 21 century. The model is sure to be a success because it is a Harley Davidson and because of the model which has kept many biker faithful to this brand.

We are not sure how much the Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide is going to cost but we don not think is going to be out of reach. We are going to start with the suspension and we are going to tell you that in 2012 Honda brings some modifications especially in the front suspension. The modifications consist of a 43 mm  inverted Showa fork equipped with a technology which can be seen on Suzuki GSX-Rs and Kawasaki Ninjas known as Big Piston Fork. Because it has a large damping volume the hydraulic pressure is reduced.

Another modification made to the new Honda CBR1000RR is the aerodynamic. The concept followed for this model is the fair layering which basically means that a large pocket of air is concentrated around the bike and the rider which makes the motorcycle more aerodynamic and at the same time letting more air enter into the cooling system. The manufacturer has also added a chin spoiler at the front wheel in order to prevent the bike from launching when the driver goes at full or high speed.

The bike has a five level indicator incorporated in a LCD digital gauge. In the LCD gauge we can also find a gear position indicator and a lap timer. No changes were made at the motor of the CBR1000RR.

Other modification made by the manufacturer to the CBR1000RR is the ABS system. For the 2012 model the ABS system is more sporty, the break from the front has been modified in order to make is more appropriate for sport riding.

It is said that the new Honda CBR1000RR will be launched in December and that you will be able to purchase it in a variety of colors. The price starts at about 13.800 $ and grows according to what extra elements you want it to have. You can buy it in red, black, white, blue and white pearl. If you want to add the C-ABS version to your bike it will cost you about 1000 $ extra. For this type of ABS you can only buy it in red.

This model will be very popular among beginners and novices. A great thing about this bike is that it have a very spacious cockpit. Because of its size the motorcycle is easy to handle which means that even if you are a beginner you can still rider the bike without falling. The engine is the one which fills the needs of both the beginners and the professional drivers.

It is very easy to turn the bike on, all you have to do is press the power switch and push the start button and you are good to go. A great feature on this model is the presence on an internal LED which is there to remind the rider that the ignition is on. The engine has five speeds and it has the power of 144cc. It also has a progressive clutch which comes in handy for beginners who have to get used to shifting and how to use the clutch. The engine is not noisy.

Another good thing about this bike is the fact that it has a roomy cockpit and wide space for the feet. Because the foot space is generous riders can move easily with very small effort.

The fork is telescopic and it is of 33mm. The fact that the bike is equipped with advanced braking components and that is has aluminum rims is a proof that it was made for off road. It is also equipped with  a 27mm twin piston caliper and a 220 mm disc in the front and a 186 mm disc in the back which ensures enough power to stop at high speed.

This is the Kawasaki KLX140 which will be launched in 2012 by the manufacturer. It is a great model and we think that it is going to be received well because both beginners and professionals can ride it. The price has not been determined yet but we will find out for sure at the launch.

Many people try to figure out what the name of the bike will be, they have come up with names such as: Xtreme, Superqaudrata or 1199. The name of Superquadrata comes from some features which the bike has to offer: stroke measurements and the engine’s highly over square bore. After a period in which the company stood quiet the name of the bike was revealed, Ducati calls it 1199 Panigale.

The name of the bike of course has a meaning behind. But first we have to specify that this model is the first one who will be different from the other models presented by Ducati, something apart from the traditional. As in all Ducati’s bikes the number 1199 refers to the placement of the bike while the name Panigale is the name of Ducati’s hometown, Borgo Panigali.

The thing which stands out from other subjects related to the 1199 Panigale is the frame. The bike will have a V twin engine with 1199cc placed on a  semi-monocoque chassis. The fork from the front will be made of aluminum casting in the steering area. What is good about all this is that the bike is lighter than the other models.

From some preview pictures revealed the Ducati bike is going to be very compact. The swing arm is longer than the 1198 model with about 19.3 inches. The wheel base is said to be placed somewhere under 56 inches. The lines of the 1199 Panigale are so aerodynamic that it is said that they are the result of a long period or researching in the wind tunnel. It is believed that the engine of the bike will have about 180 horsepower and about 12.000 rpm.

Ducati is the first producer of motorcycles who will be breaking the pattern and begin an era where mass produced motorcycles have a frameless design.

This is the Ducati 1199 Penigale which will be launched in 2012. The anticipation of the launch is high and we think that it is going to be a huge success.

The engine of this model is of 180cc and is equipped with 25 horsepower. If you want a motorcycle which is environmental friendly than this is the one for you because this model uses less fuel and less oil because of the four stroke engine. At legal speed the bike generates 10.500 rpm.

But if you want to find out exactly how much this bike costs you should go down to a dealership and talk to a dealer. The dealer is going to provide you with all the technical information you should know along with the price.

Keep in mind that this bike competes with the top bike manufacturers present on the market which means that it is worth purchasing one for yourself. Even if you are an experienced driver you will still enjoy the road as if you were on a complex model. They key element of this bike is safeness which is essential when you have such a powerful engine on board.

The model has not yet been launched in America which means that we do not have a price for this market. The model will be launched at the beginning of 2012.
